I saw some great deal on liquid chlorine (10%) at Walmart. It was marked with the data code of 21 364 i.e., December 30th 2021. and is in 1 gallon plastic containers. I have place to store it inside my house where I will have Air Conditioner and temperature at any time should not go above 72 F. I will start putting it in my pool in Early to Mid April and will probably go till mid October. I was wondering about the decomposition rate for this though? Is it too early to buy? I am thinking of getting 24 gallons to go over the whole season.

but it nowhere states whether these numbers are in open containers or closed ones? If they are closed and kept in dark and under the temperatures i mentioned above, will it still decay at the same rate or will the decay be slow?
