Bulb replacement

Hi. My bulb just went. Looking to do this. Looks like color changing bulbs are crazy cheap on Amazon with remotes to control.

quick question. What size is the hole when the light is pulled out? I want to get a stopper so I can play around on my work bench when I pull it out. Thanks.

Your junction box should be above water level, so you don't need to plug. Most niches are 1/2-3/4" openings
