Bubbles from the drain after new pump. After hurricane Harvey destroyed my pump had a new one installed another constantly vocals from the drain while it runs. No obvious leaks at pump area or wetness. Any ideas? I can post a picture but not sure how to do it through the mobile site.

Air is coming up through the floor main drain? That could mean the plumbing under the pool may have been compromised.

If the bubbles were coming from a return, then it might have something to do with the pump.

Hello-thanks for the response.
The bubbles are coming from a drain in the side of the pool (next to the pool light). Not from the drain in the bottom of the pool. No changes to the pool other than a new pump.
I do have a small leak on the chlorinator hose coming into the plumbing which is dripping water. Could they be connected?

Hello - I do have floor returns, but the bubbles coming from the drain on side of pool next to lights.
I dont think the main drain was converted to a return.

You are saying drain - but do you mean return? With the pump running is water coming out along with the bubbles?

I just recently had a similar situation, if indeed you are referring to a return jet. With the pump running, I had to bleed air out of the top of the filter using the valve until I got a steady stream of water out of it, and bubbles disappeared.
