I posted earlier about my PB trying to install a used pump. I made him give me a brand new one.

I have small bubbles that come out from the two return jets that are closest to the pump but not the other jets. My PB said it is always going to happen to those two pumps when the SWG is on and the pump is not running on a high speed. Is this accurate?

A SWG does generate both chlorine gas and hydrogen gas. The chlorine gas is usually absorbed by the water pretty quickly, but the hydrogen can stay as a gas and create tiny bubbles.

But it seems like there’s a quick and easy way to determine if the bubbles are coming from the SWG or something else. Just turn the SWG off and see if you still see the bubbles.
