I have a 6 month old pool with 2 Pentair bubblers on the 6" shelf. I noticed the other day that the nozzle seems to be deteriorating. They are very rough and sticky. I maintain the pool and am confident that the chemical balance is properly maintained (I use the practices and guidelines learned from the TFP school). Has anyone had an issue like this? I'll contact Pentair and the pool builder but I wanted to first find out any real world experiences before I hear their answers.

Thanks

FYI

I emailed Pantair and they asked for pictures because they hadn't heard of this issue. I sent pictures, they said they would cover it under warranty but my pool builder should be able to do it for me. I contacted the pool builder and the guy came out this morning to replace the nozzles. I asked him about this and he said this always happens and will happen again. Interesting that Pentair claims they never heard of it.

He also said I really didn't need the nozzle tubes and I could run it without them, just turn up the pressure a little.
