Good afternoon. I had my pool replastered approx 2 weeks ago. I've been brushing daily with a blended brush. It's mostly nylon with a few metal bristles mixed in. I have been reading conflicting guidance about what brush I should be using. The plaster guys told me from Day 1 I was good to go ahead and use stainless steel brush and once a day is plenty and to use my net to scrape stuff off the bottom of the pool... but they seem kinda off compared to what I read online. Am I good to keep using this blended brush or do I really need to go buy a full nylon brush for the first year of this plaster life? Have I done irreparable damage already? Thanks...

I vote for a nylon only brush. The wire bristles could cause lines in the plaster since its only two weeks old. Just like we tell folks not to use their wheeled cleaners for a month.
