A friend broke this poorly designed polaris connector and there is no room to do anything with it.

Does anybody have any advice on how to fix this? He can't replace the tee without 4 new jandy valves and nobody in the area is interested in the job anyway. Is it possble to cap the stub with a pvc plug on the inside, or epoxy putty or something, and then relocate the polaris feeder hose?

You could try heating the tee up to soften the remove the bushing. A process such as the below may work, or the careful application of a heat gun.

Another thought, just unscrew the fitting from the tee. It appears the reducer bushing is threaded into the tee and should come out with a good pair of channel lock pliers.

The part circled in red is what i am referring to.
