BROKEN PLUNGER VALVE HANDLE REPLACEMENT for sand filter

It's finally happened. The darn plunge valve handle has snapped in half leaving me no way to move the sand filter through the various modes (filter to backwash, etc). Does anyone have any solutions on how to fix the problem? I have the Intex Krystal Clear Sand Filter Pump Model SF90110-1 (1200 GPH; 10" SAND FILTER PUMP). I think I have scoured the internet and found nothing. I am hoping I can either find a handle or at the most, just have to replace the tank cover and 6-way valve set.

The part number for the top assembly including multiport valve is 11721B. It's available according to the Intex site.
