bricks or pavers

 Welcome to TFP!!

The idea is to distribute the weight so that they are less likely to sink. A brick will not have the same area as a paver, so it may not work as well.

We set up our pool as cheaply as possible, and I found concrete 2" x 12" x 12" pavers at around $1.44 each at HD. Definitely use pavers -- the have more area to displace the weight of your pool than bricks, which will crack or be crushed by the weight of your uprights.
