Hi all,
I'm new to pool ownership and bought a house during the winter that has a circa 1995 gunite inground pool. Decided to get professional help opening the pool last week and after filling and losing two inches of water, I decided I had a leak at the skimmer. Searching the internet for solutions, lead me to the TFP site.
I have a pretty active algae farm going too, so I'll be looking for recommendations there too. I'm about 17 gal of shock into the process and I've scrubbed and run the robot a few times, but still a bunch of work to go. Plus the pool is about 59 degrees, so hoping to kill the algae before turning on the heater.
Happy for advice and help as I get acclimated to pool ownership. Will post in the appropriate locations for direct help.
Thanks,
-Mike
