Bottom drain screws?

Hi all,

My bottom drain screws "removed themselves" over the past months of barracuda G3 action, I'm thinking because my pool has been reglassed several times since it's original install in 1993, and the stock screws are now too short. It's all Hayward, and I don't have the install file for it, but the online diagrams show what looks like a wood screw. I was hoping these would be something like a 10-32 machine screw that I could get in a 3/4" longer size. Anyone know exactly what these are?

Thanks!

This may be an alternative if you can't get the right screws...

Hmm, that site refuses to load.

But it just dawned on me there's a Leslie's a couple miles away, so I can take my cover in and see if it's anywhere near the same version as a new model. At least the screws prolly haven't changed...

Wanted to report back, it's been awhile. Twelve days before Thanksgiving, the wife had a heart attack and spent 6 days in the hospital getting 4 stents put in. Her aorta was 99% blocked and three other "mains" were over 80%. Good news is she was home for, and able to participate in, our Thanksgiving day celebration and she feels better now than in many months prior.

Anyhow, I ended up using "Mr. Sticky's Underwater Epoxy Glue" to glue the cover in place, as installing screws in eight feet of water seemed a pretty daunting task considering the unknowns of size and length. Next time the pool gets re-Fibexxed, the crew may have to chisel it off. Or my Barracuda may end up knocking it off again, who knows, time will tell...
