While I had the skimmer off to fix my rust, I went ahead and installed the Waterbug I've had sitting around for the last year.
So now that that is done, I have my copper wire, I have my lugs, I'm ready to dig the trench this weekend. My question is, the steel upright part of the pool, can I use those to bond to or do I need to drill into the actual pool? I wont be able to bolt them in since the pool is already up and running is that an issue? I'm not bonding to pass any inspection, just to make the pool safer. I've read the threads, the web and a bunch of youtube videos and now I'm second guessing my original plan.
