Bleached Out AReas on Vinyl Liner

I have been a TFP disciple for many years and had my pool built in 1998. Back in 2013 I had a new liner installed after my original liner (Vyn-All) started fading. Despite their 20 year warranty, they only gave me a small pro-rata towards a new liner claiming the fading was due to my Polaris wearing the liner. New liner (2013) has been fine until this season. After opening, I noticed several areas of bleached liner throughout the pool (see photos). I am the only one to care for (BBB) and close my pool and I get chemistry in order prior to closing and then superchlorinate the day before closing, running the pump at least 24 hours before draining and covering.

Any ideas of the cause of these? Liner defect or something I did? Trying to figure out how to deal with this - while a bit unsightly, I am not inclined to do a liner replacement anytime soon but am debating harassing Vyn-All again.

The faded areas look more like where the polaris has gotten stalled and rubbed the vinyl. If you haven't noticed that, then I suppose it could be bleach but that pattern would not make sense. Are you adding the bleach ONLY with the pump running in front of a return?

Yes, bleach only at the return and first thing in the morning so it runs all day. Polaris does not get hung up regularly in any particular spot that I have noticed. In fact, the spots were not there when pool was closed last fall, but were there after opening this spring - before polaris was even in the pool. Wondering if abrasion from Polaris may have damaged a sealing layer of the vinyl causing it to bleach out once pool was closed at shock levels of chlorine. That was my best guess.
