blah the apple tree fell

No more apples.... Watched the tree slowly fall. Now I have to cut it up. The people that had the house before had cut a large limb off one side so it was lopsided. Kinda sad first year didnt make any apples, last year got some apples ( was helping it) was looking forward to floating in the pool eating an apple. The Deer loved that old tree as did I.

You will be missed old friend.

guess ITS ALSO GRILL TIME APPLE WOOD :)

Think a pear tree instead the neighbor has a pear tree it seems to do pretty good. He was telling me that they started that apple tree from seed years ago. So I am going to count the rings and see how old it is. This is the 3rd tree that we have lost in the few years we have lived here. Seems like alot. Wonder if when I put in that retaining wall and all the drainage tile I have added to the water shed in the back yard. Might have to tile it the rest of the way.
Well went to the assessors web site and looked at some of the older photos and it seems another tree fell and hit the apple tree wonder if that did damage to it.
