Black hose heater

I have an inground fiberglass, approx 11K gallons, running a Hayward 1.5 HP single speed pump, 2 returns, 1 skimmer.
Considering running 200 ft of 1/2” irrigation hose for poor man heater, wondering if there would be any negative effects if I used one of my returns to push the water through the irrigation hose instead of rigging a sump pump.
Currently, both return eyeballs are 1/2”.

Any thoughts appreciated!

I doubt this would work. Water always takes the easiest route. In this case, that would be to the return which is not connected to 200' of resistance.

Do you have valves such that you could reduce the flow to the non-heating return?
