Black & Decker Pool controls

I have a B&D Pool pump - model BDXBTVAR200. We lost Power 10 days ago. So the start time changed. The pump works fine. But I can't turn if off to change current time, duration or speed etc. I read online that turning the Pool On & Off thr' the breaker box for 5 minutes fixes the issue. But it didn't. B&D support is useless. They don't call back as promised or reconnect to an "expert" who doesn't answer phone for 30 minutes. Has anyone experienced this? How do I reset the control panel to factory settings? Thanks.
