A new client of mine had holes in her DE grids, and as such, it has been putting DE back into the pool. This has been ongoing for several months (yes, months!). I took the pool on yesterday, replaced the broken grids, and now have to get the DE out of the pool.
The pool is FULL of DE. It's very cloudy. Even after 48 hours of the filter being switched off completely it was still cloudy.
My initial thought is to let the filter run 24/7 and allow the circulation to put the DE back into the filter, and then vacuum the remaining DE from the floor.
I'd be very interested in hearing the thoughts of others.
Thank you.
