Best thinset to use to install glass tile

Hi everyone! Me again our tile installer is coming by Friday so wanted to know your opinions. We are installing NPT Orion ocean glass tiles around the water line in our pool and spa and spa spillover. We have heard nightmares about glass tile falling off and chipping but I really want it. Does anyone know what the best thinset to use when installing glass tile? We have heard it’s all about the installation when it comes to glass tile. I want to make sure whatever my contracted is using is good stuff! Thank you!

Hello, up here in the northeast where we have freeze and thaw and tough pool conditions, we run Laticrete Glass Tile Adhesive

Do you have reason not to trust your installer? Ask him what he thinks is best.

I wouldn't be surprised if he uses epoxy rather than thinset but HE is the one providing the warranty......not this forum.
