Hey folks,

We are investigating this for a potential replacement for the pavers we have in place now. What works well in a cold climate? We are in the Toronto area; warm summers cold winters (snow, ice).. Thought about travertine but apparently doesnt work well with cold climates... what about the synthetic stone materials being used these days?

Any concrete based product should work well. Many natural stone products, like travertine, don't work well in very cold climates because of pits and voids that retain water and then become damaged during freeze/thaw cycles. A filled travertine product would work better than natural.
