Home Depot just put in new inventory but at over $8 per gallon

That's been the winter price by me. ($25 for 3). And it's the same pallet sitting there since mid summer. So its $8+ for 9 month old bleach.

It's been going up like Coke prices! Glad I went salt 3 or 4 years ago! I think I've paid for the system twice over.

Local Home Depot has box of 2 for $14.98, and Lowe's $12.98, so Walmart still has a better price, if available.

Just found out our new Rural King has 10% for $1.99/gal.

I see this was the price in 2015. My price currently in Indiana at RK is $16.99 case of 4. 10%

Walmart in Houston area still has 10% at $5.67/gal plus $9.95 to deliver. I get 25 gallons at a time delivered. Comes to about $6/gallon.

I hope Walmart will start to ship it again. Last summer, I ordered about 10 gallons a month for free. Someone might have realized that packaging and shipping cost too much.

BJs wholesale club has Austin's Pool Tech shock - 12.5% 4 gal case for $25. This maths out slightly better than Walmart 10% at $5.67. Product I purchased in April had a 24017 (Jan 17, 2024) mfg date.

I recently visited my first True Value hardware store (in Bandera, TX, while helping my parents get their newly-purchased ranch in order). Not sure how typical/representative this branch is of True Value locations in general - but among its other positives (great selection, helpful staff), it had great prices on pool chemicals. Chlorine (Pool Essentials) was $5.47/gallon and Muriatic Acid was $5.97/gallon - both quite a bit cheaper than any of the big box stores near me in Houston.
