I just noticed one of the top rails on my new coleman 18x48 pool was bent in the middle. Kids probabaly jumped off of it. Do you think i need to drain the pool to replace or would it be ok for the rest of the season maybe 2 more months?

Yes, that's why I made that comment as well. Most weight should be focused down and outward to the sides. The top rails help to keep things in place. As long as that rail doesn't collapse completely, I think you should be okay for this season. Something to watch over the weekend as swimmers hop in and start causing the water to move a bit.I'm assumming most of the weight is on the liner and legs. Because if someone stepping on the rail would crease it like that then i would assume water weight if it was a lot would also crease the rail.
I had a rail (older style) completely rust and the pool did not collapse. It will be fine. As others have said, sitting, standing, or jumping off of the horizontal rails will damage them. Also, when in the pool, it is a bad idea to push off of the vertical posts. That will cause them to bend too.Ok, thank you. Do you think this could cause the pool to collaspe i'm brand new to this. I know its a lot of weight just not sure how its distributed. I'm assumming most of the weight is on the liner and legs.
