Hi all,

okay, so I've been buying my bleach at Sam's for 2 years. I wasn't paying attention to the name, just looking at "sodium hypochlorite" concentration. At some point, Sam's changed their bleach from concentrated to Performance. I didn't think there was a difference. Then I read on here that it's not good. My question is...my pool is fine. Are these polymers bad for health? Do I need to drain/refill?

Nope. They will just cause foaming and cloudiness once your pool reaches it's threshold. Sometimes it takes many gallons and other times 5. 🤷‍♂️

Ironically the cure is lots of non-polymer chlorine if you reach your threshold.

Don't beat yourself up too bad. I cringe every week at all the shoppers with several packs each of BJs/Costco Chlorox with Chloromax Technology

HD/Lowes/Walmart is a better buy anyway for 10% Chlorinating liquid.
