Backwash with EasyTouch

Good evening,
I have an EasyTouch 4 control panel and an IntelliFlo VS pump, and do not have the pump connected to the relay.

My question is, how do I set up a backwash setting? Because the pump is connected to the EasyTouch, I can’t use the quick clean button.

When I go into service mode, and push the filter pump button, the pump doesn’t turn on.

I am sure there is a setting I am missing, what is it?

Thanks

When the panel is placed in Service, the ET4 panel should release the pump from its control and give you independent control of the pumps brain.

-Place panel in Service.
-Go to pump display which should now say "0 RPM"
-Hit Quickclean.
-Press Start/Stop.
