Backwash pipe broke

Dumb question but I’m not that handy. What’s the best way to fix this. What do I need to buy? Would I have to take off the top gasket to do so?

It looks like it's threaded in, can you get pliers or wrench on that broken part and unscrew it?

Unscrew the remnants and screw in a new one.
