Just got back from a deployment overseas, right in the middle of pool season. Followed my usual procedure getting things back up but opted against firing up the SWG, since we ony have 6 weeks or so left to swim. Been using chlorine pucks since I had a bucket in the basement. PH has stayed very low (7.0-7.2), despite addding CYA. Been augmenting with liquid chlorine when things get too low or when we have people over. Water looked pretty good for the first week or so and then went slightly cloudy. Can't seem to clear things up. Backwashed and reloaded the filter with DE and checked the chemistry
FC- 2.5
CC-.5
PH- 7.0-7.2
TA- 100
CH-310
CYA-50
SALT-2200
BOR-20
Temp- 86
Now that I've measured salt, I may go ahead and convert since that will be easier for my wife to take care of while I'm out of town
Should I pull the filter apart and clean it? SLAM and recheck?
Thanks in advance
