Thought I'd offer a bit of advice before going into high gear when something goes wrong.
Except for having to pump lots of water from two tropical depressions this year, the pool's been great & TroubleFree (to coin a phrase). A couple of days ago I noticed a check flow warning very similar to one in Feb 2011 (which was due to a burned out board) so I immediately thought the worst and was about to call my pool builder to come out & replace this thing as it was under warranty. Slow down & take a breath. Why not see if something obvious is wrong. Yep. I had forgotten to clean the screen since last fall -- it wasn't pretty. Remove the gunk, check the cell, go ahead & clean the other cartridge filter & life is good.
Preventive maintenance is just that - so don't neglect it.
Cheers & happy swimming!
