automatic pool cover

I have an indoor pool and want an automatic cover. I looked at a couple but they require a track cut into the concrete that will not fit due to the shape of the pool. Is anyone aware of a pool cover that hinges open? I have enough room to bolt the cover into the concrete on the left side of the pool and use an electric motor and cable to pull it up against the wall when open and lower it down over the pool when closed. I'm thinking if it's made out of aluminum and power coated or stainless steel it would hold up over time. I'll line it with my solar cover to trap humidity and avoid heat loss (I'll vent it periodically to let the humidity out).

I may just have to see if a local fabricator can make me something but wanted to check here first.

Thanks for any help. I'm a newbie and want to make some changes to my set up so expect more silly questions from me. :)IMG_6205.jpg

I would sink 4 anchors into your concrete like those that are used for winter safety covers. I would get a standard sized tarp, the type with grommets lining the perimeter, and permanently attach it to the anchors on the left side. I would put small bungees on the other two sides. Then, I would just manually open and close it by attaching the bungees to the other 2 anchors on the other side.

That's not a bad idea, thank you. I"m trying to automate the opening and closing as well as provide some security too. We have 17 month old triplets so time to open and close the solar cover is one thing I don't have (along with sleep, money and freedom :)

Thanks again!
