Bummer here, I went to open my pool today and heard a rip when I flipped the switch to "uncover". I stopped it right away and opened up the hood. I can see that the cover canvas ripped loose from two or three of the screws and has a small tear there. There were also a few screws missing, which I'm sure caused extra stress on those that were left.
Has anyone repaired something like this? I'm guessing I'll need to reattach screws at the very least. I may try to fix the canvas itself if there's a patching kit. The portion that ripped is at the very end of the reel, so it doesn't cover the pool.
