Automatic Pool Cleaner recommendation

I run my Active 20/S200/Discovery for 2 two hour sessions back to back for our 27k pool. I also added the interior mesh insert which I use all the time with the pleated cartridges. I love that setup for me. I see zero effect on suction or wall climbing/tile scrubbing ability with them both in. It does a great job but probably doesn’t hit all the tile. I also don’t expect it to so no worries.

I have the Dolphin S300i as a demo right now. I ran it once today on the 2.5 hour cycle. It doesnt appear to have gotten on the lagoon shelf, (the rep said it would), I may need to run it a few times to see if it does. It did miss two spots, but again, I am assuming the first run it may.
I am like Megarms, this is confusing as heck.
How does everyone feel about buying theirs online vs store? the s300i is $1299, with caddie and $125 rebate.
If something does go wrong with one of these cleaners that I bought online, how do I get it fixed? Do I have to ship it somewhere?
thanks
Justin

Justin,

I just ordered an Active 30i (same as the S300i) from Marina for $949. It qualifies for the $125 rebate and I can take it to a local dealer if it needs any warranty repairs.

The folks at Marina advised me that this unit WILL NOT work well on the stairs and/or shelves. You will either need to brush those surfaces off or step up to the M series of cleaners.

Thank you for everyone who posted the helpful tips. We just ordered the M400 through Marina and are looking forward to giving it a go this week when it arrives. We decided to go with the M400 because of it climbing the steps and the third brush feature in the middle. We did not need the delay function or the 3 cycle options so we are very happy with it.
