Hi Everyone!

Quick question. I did the vitamin C test for Iron staining. That's my issue. Then read the article about the ascorbic acid/sequestrent treatment. Got it. One question. How do I take my chlorine to 0 or thereabouts with a salt water pool? Just shut off SWG and leave filter running for a few days? Probably a silly question but Im asking anyway! I have black spotting on my plastic steps so I expect that to get worse with low chorine I'm thinking....:(

Thanks in advance for any help wiht this!!!

Yes, turning the SWG output to 0 or turning it off will do it. If you only have a few spots of stains you might be able to use the AA in a sock to spot treat the stains and leave the SWG alone.
