Are Pentair cartridge filters Universal? How do I figure out what I need?
There are several numbers on the top of our cartridges and several numbers on our filter so I’m not sure what exactly we have. Pics attached.

You have hidden well the most important part of the label in your photos. Look for the punched-out circle at the bottom right under the filter model numbers. You have the CCP420 (also shown on the silver label). So your part number for the cartridge is 178584. You don't need actual Pentair replacements; the ones made by Pleatco are basically identical.

The cartridges are not universal. For the CCP series, they are identical except for height. It's important to get the right size.

Replumb the filter first.
