Aquaspa - PHMB or polyhexanide

G’day all,

I was looking for the Ahh-Some product in Australia which is apparently Lo-Chlor Aquaspa Pipe Klenz. I believe Ahh-Some provide their chemicals to Lo-Chlor and it is the same product.

Anyhoo, in doing so I noticed their chlorine and bromine-free sanitising system, Aquaspa. It uses PHMB or polyhexanide as the sanitiser component.

https://aquaspa.com.au

Is polyhexanide worth a go or is sticking with chlorine preferable?

Thanks as always,

Steve

I had exactly the same question as I was reading through the LoChlor info. Thanks for the clarification. So I am thinking the only LoChlor hot tub cleaner chemicals I need are;
* The PipeKlenz
* FIlter cleaner.
Does that sound right?
I have all the other stuff like Chlorine, Acid, Calcium etc and Clear Choice Labs test kit.
Thanks.
