Aquarite Bad Cell

Hi: Getting a bad salt reading. T15 Cell. Actual salt level is 3500. Geting readings like 2700. Did resets several times. Also aftert a few minutes getting an Inspect Cell LED. The T15 cell was checked at a pool store two times and passed. Also my spare T15 cell gives me the same indications. I have been using this board and cell for some time without issues. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks, Don

Have you reset the inspect cell light?
It automatically comes on every 500 hours of use.
To reset hold down the diagnostic button for 3 seconds.
How does the cell look? Is there visible scale/buildup?
Is the inspect cell light the only light on?
How old is the cell?

Basic AquaRite Diagnostics​

This is the basic information we need to know in diagnosing a problem:

• Report all diagnostic readings when you..
  • Move the switch from auto to off and check all of the readings.
  • Move the switch back to auto and recheck the readings.
  • Move the switch to off for a minute and then back to auto and recheck the readings.
• What are the first seven characters of the cell and box serial numbers?
• What is the actual salinity and how are you measuring it?

It’s not the cell because I have several main boards and the existing T-15 works fine with a different board. It is kind of an unusual issue. I have repaired several main boards with the common problems but this one is a puzzle. I’m going to give the cell an acid cleaning just to make sure. Thanks for the response

So... put one of those boards you have in it and call it good. Are you a pool guy? Is that how you have several boards?
