Aqualink Z4 vs RS vs. ? - Need Many Items Integrated

I have an Aqualink RS with IAqualink 2, but the controller appears to have died (24VAC, fuse good, no LEDs). I need to make a quick decision about a replacement. New tech would be nice. Should I consider Aqualink Z4 or a Pentair controller?

I have the following hardware integrated for control and data display:
IntelliFlo XF VS Pump (RPM, power consumption)
Jandy APUREM Aquapure (salt PPM, % generation)
Jandy ChemLink C1900 (ORP, PH)
Aqualink Touch Display

Other hardware: 2 JVAs, Blower, Waterfall Pump, Lights

Information on Z4 integrations is thin at best. Can the Z4 do it? Is there a modern Pentair product that can do it?

Kris,

It would make no sense to remove the RS system for a Z4 or anything else at this point. First of all you’ll need an electrician to rewire the whole box which i would guess is more than the cost of the repair.

Before anything make sure the Aqualink transformer isnt the problem. If the transformer has died it won’t be sending low voltage power to aqualink controller. If the transformer has died, then it could either be the controller board or CPU card. Do you know your current software version of your system? how old is it?

You can buy a replacement Aqualink controller for around $450 that integrates straight in depending on version or alternatively you can buy an iQ-20A upgrade which will bring your RS system to the latest version T2 firmware and you get an iAqualink 2.0 for $600 online.
