There are 2 things I can't figure out with my Aqualink system. Hoping someone here may know the answers...

I have an Aqualink RS with iAqualink 2.0. In the help section it shows REV T.2, FM Rev 4.0.6-e, and on the bottom of the screen it shows v1.5 RS. Additionally, my main pool pump is a VSP.

1) My understanding is that if you have multiple schedules, the system will always use the highest speed. So to be effective with overriding things using a schedule, you need to set the Pool speed to the lowest speed setting you will want to use, and then override with higher speed settings in schedules as needed. My understanding is also that when you turn the filter on in Service mode, it uses the Pool speed setting, which means whenever you go into service mode, you'll be running the pump at the slowest speed setting.

Am I misunderstanding how the speed settings, schedules and service mode work? If not, is there any way to override the pump speed in Service mode to force it to be a faster speed setting?

2) This one is more of a constant annoyance than anything. I find when I'm using iAqualink and I'm in the web view, it randomly reverts to a different screen. Most often it reverts to either the home screen or the Status screen. It's really annoying when trying to do setup activities and you're part way through something, or even just clicking the button to get into a section and it flips to a totally different place. I've even noticed that I can be in a screen where you have to save before exiting and I'll randomly see a message popup that I have to save before exiting - because it was trying to throw me back to a different screen for some reason. I don't think it's a timeout issue because sometimes I'll click a button to go to a screen, it'll go to the screen and within a second it'll kick me out and back to another screen. I changed from wifi to a wired connection but the issue is still just as frequent (although the overall interface is much faster now, so I can get back to where I was faster)

I am not sure. I need to go test that. I run my pump 23 hrs a day so I rarely am putting it in service mode. My memory is that the speed is high because I do a backwash with no issues. what about just pressing one of the program buttons on the VSP display screen. Since it is in service mode, then the pump screen should be active.

The Status Screen is a temporary screen - it will time out after 30 secs or so. But I have not experienced the issues you are stating. Are you doing this on a PC or on a phone app? I do all of my scheduling and setups via a PC as it is easier interface.

If you need to run the pump at a different speed while in service mode you can assign a speed to one of the function buttons (if you have a spare one). Then you change the speed using that function button when in service mode.

My VSP doesn't have a display screen.

I see this timeout behavior on both my phone (Android) and when accessing via a PC. The problem is this happens randomly within all screens, so if I go into setup and want to change something, I have to go really fast to the right place, make the change and hit save before it flips back to some other screen. It's really random - sometimes it doesn't happen at all, sometimes it's after several seconds and sometimes I can click a button, it will flash the correct screen and then jump to some other screen. I'm not double-clicking or accidentally tapping or anything like that. I haven't been able to find any pattern to it. I may try to capture a video of it happening to make it more clear what I'm experiencing.

This is a great idea, I hadn't thought of using one of the buttons this way.
