I thought you said it worked with the PDA? It is a variable speed pump, right? You can change all speeds with the PDA? For sure get a new cable. Use any 4 wire 22 gauge communications or alarm system cable.

So, it worked once, after connecting the PDA antenna. The only way the pump works consistently is if I remove the rs485 connection and jumper it. I will definitely get a new cable.

I wanted to update this issue. I was finally able to spend some time on it. I replaced the rs485 wire from the PCB to the motor and this resolved the issue.
