The previous owners of our house initially had an SCG installed and integrated with their AquaLink RS panel. For whatever reason, they had the salt cell removed and the AquaPure UI Panel/PCB unplugged from the main AquaLink RS PCB. We want to add SCG capability back to the system using either a Fusion Nature2 (most likely) or AquaPure 1400 salt cell.

The local pool company is quoting me an additional $1600 of potential cost to purchase an AquaPure Power Pack so they can cannibalize and repurpose parts as needed if the SCG electronics in the AquaLink RS panel do not work. They are telling me they won't be able to test the currently installed electronics until the Fusion/AquaPure is plumbed in.

I find it hard to believe that there is no way to perform a function test on the AquaPure electronic components I already have in the AquaLink RS panel before accepting this quote.

So, I'm looking for insight to make the most informed decision possible on this. Is there any way to test the current components? I have a multimeter.

I'm attaching some photos that could be helpful.

Thanks in advance!

See the attached Jandy Aquapure manual.

I don't think the volts and amps test will work until a cell is connection to the system.

Thanks! The test points especially pg 15 would prove very helpful, but I don’t have the board pictured. Do you have something similar for the boards I posted images of?
