Well a year later and another lightning strike. I got home during a rainstorm and immediatly went to unplug the SWG. Later there was a near strike and when I went out to check the lower union coupling was broken and leaking and the cover to the salt cell (covers wires going into cell) blown loose. Pluged it in and no display. Called insurance and filed claim, now to order the repair parts. Anyone want a PCB to test/repair?

You have everything around your pool well bonded and grounded?

The pool itself is not grounded (above ground with a stainless steel panel for the skimmer/return) but all the electrical is grounded
As much as I'd love to have it, I'm afraid a strike bad enough to blow the wires off the cell would be more damage than could possibly be repaired.
