So I have decided to upgrade from E command to Aqua Plus so I can get automation and a SWCG all in one package. As I look to buy the aqua plus, I find it listed as Goldline Aqua Plus or Aqua Plus Pro Logic.
are these all the same or is the Goldline the older version. I just want to make sure I get the current version of this product. Would appreciate any help.

I never heard about the goldline?? Here's a list of the different base models. I'm putting in the aquaplus 16v with salt. Can't comment on it yet, the pool is going in, in the fall

jza1736,

Thank you for your post, was beginning to get really worried. I have tried to contact Hayward to get some information and was on hold all three times for over an hour beforeI hung up.I guess coustomer service for them is not important.

Hi I'm new here but I have a 10 year old Aqua Plus Goldline - model AQL-PLUS-20G so the Goldline is old I would say. My question is - I've had the same t 5 cell (10,000 gallon pool) for the life of the pool. I'm wondering what t5 cell to replace it with. I don't seem to find Aqua Plus listed as being compatible with the t 5 cells for sale online. I'm getting a low salt reading but testing with salt strip shows 3400 ppm or so. In the past 7 bags of salt have put it in the ballpark so I'm thinking of trying a new cell. Thanks for any input

The current Aqua Plus is a PL-PLUS or PL PLUS-16. The current model will accept all cell types with the older models only accepting the T-15. Hayward bought Goldline about 15-20 years ago. The Goldline logo still exists on some product. To know if you unit will accept all cell types, in the default or configuration menu there will be a place where you can set cell type. If the cell type is not there it is an older model and will not accept anything other than a T-15
