Hello,
I have an Goldline Aqua Plus control that is not generating chlorine.
I have had several issues in the past, all involving broken solder joints. I had the board repaired early this Summer, as it had the "No Cell Power 2" error message. It has been working fine until a week ago, now I get "very low salt" and the chlorinator will not turn on.
On the diagnostics menu, when I cycle the generator on, I am getting 31.37V, about .15A and instant salt reading of 0000. The voltage and amp reading both have a minus sign in front of them as well.
There is one other error, water sensor says it is open circuit. Flow switch shows flow though.
*UPDATE* Found a loose wire, water sensor works fine now. Chlorinator still does not.
Any ideas on what it could be?
I cleaned the salt cell about 3 weeks ago using the stand to hold it vertical and seal off bottom, but it has worked fine for a couple of weeks afterward.
Thanks
