Let's see it, the good, the bad, the ugly. The installation of mine was never completed by the pool guy, and it is just hanging there. I'm looking for form in addition to function. The communication wire is way too long, and I'm not a big fan of "lassos". So, I'll need to figure out how to shorten that, ideally get it run in conduit, and installed on a brick wall.

No, I haven't. I've been reading up on PVC conduit and working up the nerve to have at it. They don't really put conduit fittings on the iQPUMP01, so that end might be a bit redneck. At the pump side, I THINK you can attach conduit but am not sure.

The iQPUMP01 manual states it should be 10' from the pump, which is really a drag. The pump is close to the wall, so that puts it really far from the other pool controls.

Until I figure out the best practices, it is going to sit on my windowsill.

I'm sort of having buyer's remorse over the iQPUMP01 option. The self-contained module makes all this go away. It would be harder to set up a schedule, but not harder than all this ********.

It says 10 feet, but I really don’t see any reason that that would make any difference.

Maybe it is an electrical interference issue?

Wiring the iQPUMP01 Interface.

Mount the iQPUMP01 Interface, using the two (2) screws provided, as high as possible, and a minimum of 10ft. (3m) from any electric motor.

Always mount the device with the antenna on the right side, pointing up towards the sky.
