I have the metal bull nose coping that the concrete pours into. Will salt be too harsh on this? I can always touch up paint periodically. There are also a few other metal items such as screws on the skimmers and steps (stainless steel) and metal plates on the light niches. Ladder and steps need replaced anyways and could always convert to non-metal on those if necessary.

I've been running a vinyl pool with metal bullnose and SWG since 2006 and the bullnose looks perfectly fine.
