So I'm having issues with my AquaRite r1.40 board or T cell-15. Pool is roughly 9 years, we bought the house 7 years ago. I've replaced the T-15 once, but can't remember how long ago, I seem to remember it being rather early on, commenting to the previous owner that it was a bit early, either they didn't add stabilizer or ran it 24/7 or something along those lines. Can't find where I bought it, so best guess is right at 5 years old. The cell has some external yellowish discoloration where the plates are. Anyway this spring I'm having an issue where the salt strips (one bought from Amazon, the other from some store local on clearance) both consistently read 4000, but the PCB shows low, currently 2000.
What I've done beside curse it is clean the cell and calibrate it. So when I initially get it started, voltage is 26V and 2.2A. After 30 seconds when it shuts off after seeing 2000 ppm salt voltage is reading 31V and 0A. I see T cells when they start to fail give low salt readings, so I'm assuming this is the case, just checking in with y'all. Thanks for the help!
