Another question about construction of new pool

Hi veteran pool owners! So they started on the coping today, our decking will be pavers. My question is this, the pb said that with the 1ft of coping plus the 4 ft of decking around most it would equal 5ft.. well when we measured the gunite ledge it was less than 1 ft so I assumed the coping would have an overhang. Today they started it and you can see that not only does it not overhang but you can see the gunite as the coping looks to be cut short. I don’t want to be a pain, we already had to call pb because they set the equipment in the wrong spot. Is this normal and will be covered with pavers or did they do a bad job? I know it may seem so minor but when you are spending a small fortune on a pool you want it done right. Thank you! IMG_5063.jpeg
 
I looked at it cross-eyed & thought the right side was going to be the pool interior & the "overhang" would be on the right. Pool on left, deck on right, correct? That should be fixable when they build it up, but you need to express your concern to the builder.
