Getting either freeze protection or Air Sensor open message. Been fighting this for a year or so originally replaced the air sensor and it was good for 6 months or so. Purchased another and it worked for a week. Wired in a 0.5 Watt resistor and it worked for a month now getting the freeze protection coming on intermittently. I put the system in Service mode overnight and it seems to work normal for a day or two.
I am assuming I need a new board? if so can you tell me which one ? Just a CPU or is more needed. Unit was installed in 2001.
Thanks,

Does your Jandy system use a PDA for control? The sensor connects to that GREEN connector which is part of the main board. Jandy has come out with several new versions since 2001. Do you wish to have wireless control via an app on your phone?

No I don't have a PDA. If there is a cheaper fix if it is indeed the board then no I don't need to be able to control it from my phone. If I don't have to do the IQ30-RS update Kit and could just change out a board that would be the cheapest and the best option for me.

Normally it comes as a kit but you may be able to find a board on eBay.
