Anchoring a cover to a wall

Newbie question... hopefully plastering and starting to fill tomorrow...

My new pool has "normal" deck and coping on three sides. The fourth side has an adjacent raised patio and planters. The side of the patio is a rough stone face that drops right down to the waterline tile. So there's no horizontal edge to the pool there at all.

How would I attach a cover there in winter? Even if I sunk anchors into the wall, I'm not sure how anybody would get to them without treading water.

Thanks...

Well, I'm not at home and don't have any recent photos, but here's one from a few weeks back. You can see one of the two planters behind the pool. The center portion of that side is a patio that's about twice as far above the pool, then the right side is another planter. That side is about 40 ft totally.
