Am I on the right track?

Hi everyone. My wife and I just purchased our first home with a pool and I’ve been reading up on TFP as much as I could for the past few weeks to prepare (awesome community by the way!). I used the TF-pro test kit this morning to run my first round of tests with the following results:

PH: 8.2
FC: 18.5
TC: 20.5
CH: 250
TA: 70
CYA: 42
Salt: 3,000

Pool details: refinished in the last year or two, plaster, 14k gallons, with SWG. Ongoing issue with calcium scaling on tiles but water is clear.

From what I understand, I should reduce PH, raise CYA, and increase calcium hardness. I’ll be buying the muriatic acid, stabilizer, and calcium chloride today. Am I overlooking anything? Is there a certain order of operations that I need to follow when adding these?

Thank you!

This indicates that your CC is 2. Can you confirm?

If that is correct, then follow the SLAM process to clear the CCs. Link-->SLAM Process

Your CYA is 50, always round up to the next 10. Don't raise CYA until you SLAM.
