Alternative filters, how to find them

I have a Carving Sherlock 160 filter.

Filters are Pleatco PJ160.

They are 200$ Canadian.

How can I find alternative to these expensive filters.

THe hole in the middle is 6 inch, will any filter with 6 inch diameter do?

No idea as to there quality or if they will ship to Canada.
