Almost full, ready to install skimmer...but wrinkles from shop vac

Folks,

I did the shop vac trick through the skimmer hole and the pool looks awesome. Zero wrinkles...except where the shop vac hose was. It looks like the shop vac hose stretched out the liner at that spot.

The water is just an inch below the skimmer, so I shut off the water to see if you have any suggestions on how to deal with it.

Any suggestions on how to get the wrinkles out there (its under water)?

Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated!

Thanks,

-J

Did you get in the pool and see if you can "walk" the wrinkles out with your fingers/hands? I would try that and see what happens. IF that does not work I would think about lowering the water to that area and work on the wrinkles then. Let us know what ends up working.

Kim,
Got it installed :)

So I did try to work the wrinkles from inside the pool, which did help. The area where the skimmer was to be installed, I carefully used a blow dryer through the skimmer cutout in the wall to warm the liner up and work the wrinkles and shape back to the original shape. I have a few small wrinkles down low that are still there but they do not impact the skimmer area and they are rather inconspicuous.

I guess it comes down to patiently working the wrinkles and little heat to get it back into shape.

On a side note, I put Gorilla pad down and I glued on wall foam. It has a nice feel and comfortable on the feet.
