All legs kicked out at bottom

Hey everyone - my old intex 16' round died so I got an 18' intex xtr round, but had to move all my under leg blocks, underlayment (1" insulation boards), etc to accommodate the new size.

I had no trouble with the old pool, but all the legs on this one are kicked out a bit at the bottom, and I can't get them level because they hit the pool at the bottom.

This has given the legs a tendency to walk a bit, and for the top to be a little wobblier than normal (because the legs aren't 'pulling' the top ring tight).

I think also theres too much weight on the ground and not enough on the legs (the blocks are pretty level with the underlayment, and the underlayment would compress a little I thought?) which is letting them kick out/move around more than normal.

I've added more blocks around the existing blocks in case the legs starts to try and slip off (some have some partway off a block, like fractions of an inch, but just the boot, not the metal leg part)

I also added a few ratchet straps from the tops of 3 contiguous legs to the adjascent deck to 1) help those legs get and stay more upright (they're by the ladder, which was starting to touch the liner on the sides when the pool ring would flex and move) and 2) the stabilize the pool top ring so its not as prone to movement.

After the season I'll drain and re-do the feet, etc, but for the next 6-8 or so warm weeks, do I need to worry about anything?

Hey CT !!!

How level is the water ?

Any chance the more movement comes from having a larger 'bag full of water' ?

Theres a certain amount of movement I know, I had the 16' for 3 yrs, but this feels like more, plus the legs all kicking out at the bottom.

Generally they're an inch or 2 out of plumb (sorry, should have been saying plumb vs level for the legs) with the bottoms being kicked out, but I can't knock them further in because they're pressed against the pool.

Tempted to get a long ratchet strap to bind the bottoms together, but feels like asking for trouble

Find the high side of the frame and the low side. Measure the water height from the top of the rail at both.

The pattern doesn't line up at the seam so it's hard to tell exactly how unlevel the frame is, but it's definitely off.

Hey, just clarifying, I'm not talking about how level the pool it. The pool is only about 1.25" out of level from highest to lowest point.

I'm saying the legs aren't plumb, and I can't get them to plumb. They all kick out at the bottom, and when I try and plumb them, they just hit the side of the pool (you know how these pools are sort of fat at the bottom like a cauldron)

I know you weren't, but I was. That's the the likely cause of the legs being wonky. :)

Did the leg supports sink at all ? A couple look tilted to me but it could be the pic angles. They may have all sunk about the same, remaining mostly level but not be below the pool floor.

Maybe a little, but its all the legs on the pool are like this.

I'm fairly convinced that theres just not enough weight on the legs. I tried to have the blocks be at the same level as the underpad, but the fact I can move the legs as much as I can by hand means theres not enough weight.

In the off season I'll drain, re-level, and raise the pads slightly.

Mainly wanted to make sure I'm ok for the next 6-8 weeks.
